A hyperlink can be either text or an object such as a picture or a chart element that, when clicked, takes you to another location (e.g., a specific location in your document) or brings up information from another file or web page. You have probably used hyperlinks on the Internet. Clicking a hyperlink in a web page can either take you to a different location on that page or to a completely different web page.
