SUMMARY

Middleware supports the seamless convergence of broadcast and home network applications. The fusion between both of these technologies facilitates the deployment of a range of new entertainment services within the home. HAVi is a protocol and set of APIs that defines a set of software services that enable 1394 devices to expose their A/V capabilities to peer devices on the network.
