Documenting the Negotiation
Well, you’re finally here. You’ve planned for the negotiation, carried it out successfully, and come to a final agreement that all sides can live with. Congratulations! But you’re not quite done yet. As the old saying goes, nothing is done in government work until all the paperwork is done. The next, and final, job of the negotiation process is to document the results.
You’ve probably been harped on your whole career about the importance of properly documenting your work actions, and at no time is this more crucial than it is now.
