Abstract:

Discussion forums are common both nationally and abroad for higher education at a distance. They are the main area where students answer discussion questions and interact with their peers. This is the main classroom and also an area where plagiarism occurs, intentionally and unintentionally. Intentional acts of plagiarism are viewed as deceptive actions, while unintentional ones are viewed as having no malicious intent from the student. If the student does not understand how to respond in the discussions, intentional and unintentional plagiarism occurs.
