CHAPTER 5: THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS
This section outlines two separate certification processes:
1. The certification process for data processing related to products, processes and services.
2. The certification process for data processing activities related to data protection management systems.
It should be noted that there is a large body of work that must be undertaken before either of these certification processes commence. We will discuss this later when outlining the preparation that must be undertaken before submitting an application to the relevant certification body.
