Paul L. Joskow is an economist whose research has focused on topics in industrial organization, government regulation, the organization of firms, law and economics, energy and environmental economics. He was on the faculty of the Department of Economics at MIT from 1972 to 2010 and is now the Elizabeth and James Killian Professor of Economics, Emeritus there. He has been President of the Alfred P.
