Abstract
Today the challenge before the world is how to stop the expansion of the COVID-19 virus, as the world is currently facing the third wave of COVID-19, against which the World Health Organization (WHO) is regularly updating all of us to take precautions. To prevent the spread of the virus, individuals testing positive for the disease should be placed in isolation. Many countries are currently affected and the whole world is taking precautions by using the various methods as per the WHO guidelines. Crowded places, close-contact settings, and confined, enclosed spaces with poor ventilation, and touching the same place that multiple people have touched are the main causes of COVID-19 spreading. Nowadays, all the electronics components are moving toward atomization, which is completely dependent upon the IoT. In this chapter, we will focus on the “touch” cause of expansion with a deep study using the touchless technology concept of IoT sensor to address this cause of COVID-19 spreading, for which various simple networking components are detailed which can be used to perform many day-to-day electronics tasks remotely. The IoT technology is an up-and-coming ...
