Objective 3.6: Version a WCF service
Unless you deploy a service that has absolutely no bugs or problems and never needs any feature updates, you have to deal with service versioning at one point or another. Versioning is probably not a major feature of the exam, but is certainly fair game as far as questions go, and you should at least be familiar with the concepts before considering taking the exam. Outside of the exam, though, it’s something you will have to deal with (probably frequently) and is an area with a small margin for getting things wrong. No one has ever regretted getting versioning and deployment issues “too right” and probably never will.
