CHAPTER 3
Implement disaster recovery
Disaster recovery involves ensuring that you are able to recover a workload in the event that a failure occurs. Failures can be as simple as files becoming corrupted or a disk failing, or can be as complicated as an entire site going offline due to natural disaster. In this chapter you will learn how to manage backup and recovery for Windows Server computers, both on-premises and in Azure, how to use Azure Site Recovery to replicate hybrid and cloud-based Windows Server workloads, and how to use Hyper-V Replica to replicate virtual machines from one Hyper-V server instance or cluster to another.
