Chapter 7Group Work for Cross-Cultural Learning

This chapter presents the idea of simulating cross-cultural encounters. We set the scene through some initial group acculturation exercises, including role playing. Then we progress to what we call the Synthetic Culture Laboratory. The laboratory is a framework for practicing the synthetic cultures in teams made up of the different synthetic cultures and interacting over a situation of their choice.
