About the authors

Sue Myburgh was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and educated at Rustenburg Girls’ High School, the University of Cape Town and the University of South Africa. In 1982, she was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to study at Simmons College, Boston, Massachusetts.

Her working experience in the area of information management has been diverse, including public, academic and corporate libraries; cataloguing, reference work, online database searching, acquisitions, serials control, records management, consultancies and freelance indexing and abstracting.
