Ext JS 4 introduces a brand new animation builder which allows us to build keyframe animations in a similar style to those available with CSS3.

In this recipe, we will create a simple keyframe animation using the Ext.fx.Animator class. We will then move on to discuss how to have your application react to these custom animations by harnessing the built-in events and callbacks.

Keyframe animation is when the animator defines the characteristics (position, size, color, and so on) of the elements involved in the animation at specific points in time.
