Education, education, education. This was the new Kindersley refrain and the focus of his ambition as the digital world materialised and as the spread of DKFL created a substantial sales channel. With CD-ROMs now being published online, and with a healthy proportion of teachers recruited as DKFL distributors, the opportunity was there on two fronts to bring “soft” education into the home as support for the curriculum. Peter was keen to forge close links with the educational establishment, to build a whole new business from the premise that Dorling Kindersley books and CD-ROMs were beloved of teachers and pupils alike.
