The Star Wars books featuring the original films were published for the Christmas market in 1998, a couple of months after Marketing Man joined the company. While it was reckoned that there could be pretty healthy sales for all those fans who harboured memories of the earlier trilogy, it was estimated that the real feeding frenzy would peak when the new movie premiered the following spring and we published the tie-in titles.
