Where to Eat
Indian restaurants and curry houses line Brick Lane in East London
Once hushed and barely tolerant of children, London’s restaurants have become more accommodating towards families, and dining has grown more informal. Noisy children will not be welcomed in any restaurant, but even upmarket establishments will be happy to see well-behaved ones, and often provide high chairs, colouring books and crayons. The choice of cuisines is enormous, offering dishes from all over the world. Prices given in this guide allow for a two-course lunch for a family of four, excluding wine but including soft drinks.
