Facebook Insights is a suite of tools that helps you make informed decisions about how you should be adjusting your marketing strategy on Facebook. It helps you determine how you should spend your advertising dollars, how you should improve your content strategy, and how you can better understand the prospects and customers who are your Facebook fans. Most importantly, Insights helps you see how your marketing efforts are translated into new and returning customers.

Insights (as shown in Figure 10-1) gives you access to standard metrics such as the number of Page visitors and fan demographics (where they live and what type of Page stories they like, for example). Stats are updated constantly, so you can quickly identify what’s working and what’s not and then adjust your marketing strategy accordingly.
