19.0 What Is PM?
PM is a series of tasks that can:
1.Extend the life of an asset. Example: Cleaning drains on a flat roof will extend its life.
2.Detect that an asset has had critical wear and is going to fail or break down. Example: A quarterly inspection shows a small water leak from a pump seal.
