Building Safety

Bad things sometimes happen to good buildings. The next few chapters deal with some of these bad things. As the responsible party representing the building, the facility maintenance effort has to think through issues of safety, security, and disasters. Of course, not every threat can be eliminated. But you can proactively take steps to defend yourself. By being proactive, you can mitigate the effects of the threat and reduce their impact.
