Abstract
Total Productive Management (TPM) is a program that focuses on new ways of repairing equipment throughout the process. This program is designed to improve productivity, decrease production time, and enhance employee satisfaction. The successful implementation of TPM in organizations not only outlines the processes and strategies required for implementation, but also should benefit from the unparalleled results of TPM’s core philosophy as a positive view to customers about the company, the quality of its product and reliability. In recent years, many organizations have shown that significant business growth can be achieved through Advanced Maintenance and Reliability (AMR). These ideas and philosophies can be used effectively to improve productivity in an organization, thus leading organizations to a more competitive environment. Therefore, in a highly competitive environment, AMR may appear to be one of the best strategic plans that can lead organizations to measure new levels of success and can really make the difference between success and failure of organizations.
