After seeing Andrew’s Post-it note, Katherine prefers to take a break and have a coffee rather than respond immediately.
In the coffee area, she meets Mary, the head of Human Resources. Katherine is happy: Mary is one of her closest friends. In her 40s, small constitution, large glasses covering half her face. She has a vocation for her work and, when she can help people, she lights up, smiling with motherly eyes.
They are alone at the coffee machine and Katherine takes the opportunity to steal advice from her: “Mary, are you in a hurry? May I ask you for advice?”
