This chapter and the next one extend your skills by giving you further techniques that you can use to save time on projects. This chapter shows you how to assess a project very quickly. You can use it in situations like the following:
You are asked to take over a project that is already running.
You are asked to assess a project.
Somebody who reports to you is running a project – how do you know whether the project is in good shape?
A sub-contractor does a presentation of their project plan. How do you know whether it is a good plan or not?
