Properly Disposing of an Old PC
In the previous chapter we discussed two ways to copy files and folders from your personal data from an old PC to a new one: File History and Windows Easy Transfer.
Once you’ve transferred your personal data off an old PC, good file management practice dictates that the job isn’t quite done yet. Chances are, you will dispose of that old PC in some way; you may plan to sell it, donate it to charity, hand it down to a friend or family member, or simply decide to leave it at the curb for recycling.
