Now that you have completed Part I, “Getting to Know FileMaker Pro,” you should be familiar with databases in general, and FileMaker Pro in particular. You have the all the skills you need to go “beyond the basics” and learn how to make changes to FileMaker databases.

In this chapter, you learn more about fields. You discover the many different types of fields that FileMaker supports and their options. You also learn to add, change, and delete fields by making changes to the Contacts database that you created in Part I.
