In every seminar, online class, and by email, I am asked about writing business plans for feature films to go direct to smart phones, home video, cable, VOD (and all its version, such as TVOD, SVOD, etc.), Amazon, iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, Xbox, and any other nontheatrical platforms currently in operation. All of these changes are exciting and becoming increasing important to the entertainment business. The problem with all this is: where is the money?
