INTRODUCTION

It is in the editing room that the most important part of the movie-making process occurs. Lit solely by the dim glow of production monitors, the editor meticulously pieces together the potentially thousands of individual shots to create a sweeping sense of emotion and pacing, and ultimately a story that will move hearts and minds.
