The sixth edition of this book had appeared in the year 2018. This is now its seventh edition in response to my own quest to regularly update the book within an interval of 3-4 years, as also due to:

  1. Ever changing and expanding International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and consequently, the Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) as they move in tandem with the former,
  2. Revision of the Conceptual Framework of Financial Statements in accordance with Ind AS by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI),
