Chapter 8 Deferred Giving: The Risk/ Reward and Virtue of Patience

This chapter is about the instruments through which the nonprofit may receive a stream of income, a huge lump-sum, but always has to be patient and have some trust that a donor will not change his or her mind or that an investment will work to the advantage of the nonprofit. It helps for the nonprofit to understand the risk-reward in these strategies and how they are constructed.
