Throughout this book I have mentioned the benefits of getting professional help with your investments. I am biased on this point by the fact that I founded an investment advisory firm, and you will have to consider that as you evaluate what you read here.
If you absorb what’s in this book and apply it as I have suggested in Chapter 10, “Twelve Numbers to Change Your Life,” then in theory you can do everything you need without professional help. However, I don’t do that, and I’d like to tell you why.
