Many would-be filmmakers end up never raising the money they need for their movie. Some don’t even give it a try, thereby assuring their failure. Others sit back waiting for Hollywood to come knocking. I promise you, regardless of your talent or ability, if you’re waiting for success to beat down your door, it is likely to be a very long wait.
You have to go out and get noticed. You really can raise money and make your movie, but you have to take the initiative and be the one knocking on doors. That task will likely require you to get more proactive than you have ever been.
