Overview
Section 2 is a special section dealing only with components. I would like to make some comments about components, in particular about some false statements that I often read in forums. Components are, in my opinion, a great tool to facilitate the work of a designer or developer. The main reason is that, with a minimum of ActionScript, they return a maximum of functionality that would otherwise require extensive advanced coding. Some developers do not like components, because the functionality they are aiming at is not perfect or because they prefer a different appearance. The first argument can be true.
