Lists (the component variety) are the workhorses of a Flex application. Consequently, a large portion of your development in Flex will focus on the presentation of, and interaction with, Lists.

Beyond the aesthetics of page formatting (discussed in previous chapters), you’re likely to want a granular level of control over content presentation within the rows and cells of List-based components.
