Abstract

This chapter presents an introduction to fluid sampling concepts and how it effects on the oil and gas reservoir management. Furthermore, this chapter demonstrates the sampling methods including bottom-hole samples, surface sampling, formation testers, and wellhead sampling. In addition, it presents the advantages and drawbacks of surface and subsurface sampling methods.
