Although most Web sites only use the core Web fonts, there are actually dozens of fonts pre-installed on both Mac and Windows computers available for your Web designs, many of which are available on both platforms.

This appendix presents font samples of all of the typefaces likely to be pre-installed along with 30 free downloadable typefaces that are licensed for font linking as described in Chapter 3, “Fonts & Typefaces.” The URL where you can download the file is included. Each card includes the font name, which can be used in a font stack; the weights and styles available; and where the typeface is available.
