The choice of covering can be determined during or after the design process is complete. If a character design looks fuzzy, fluffy, bushy, and plush, then there is a good chance that it will be covered with fur. If a design seems soft, with a low, matt texture, then this could suggest a low-napped fur, antron fleece, or flocked fiber finish. If the design is shiny and hard looking yet needs to be flexible the option could be spandex, Lycra, or a rubber skin such as latex or neoprene ...
