This book was created using combustion 3 for the Windows platform. Because combustion uses the ‘Discreet Artist’ interface, the only visual way the Macintosh and Windows versions differ from one another is the menu bar at the very top of the screen. The screen captures and projects provided should look and function identically on the Macintosh platform.

All keyboard and mouse conventions will be the same except for the three exceptions listed below. On the right is the Macintosh equivalent to the Windows function listed on the left (and used throughout this book).
