4.  Don’t Multi-task or Attempt Too Many Things at Once

 

So, what else are you doing while you’re reading this ebook right now?  Are you monitoring another screen?  Are you checking email?  Maybe you’re eating or having a cup of coffee?  The coffee would be fine, because you can drink while reading that at the same time.  However, if you’re trying to do something that takes effort or work or brain power—like ordering office supplies, installing software, carrying on instant messaging, or chatting on Facebook—you’re probably multitasking.  You’re probably not really paying attention to these words.
