The three phases of post-production are: archiving, editing, and finishing. These phases are undertaken in sequential order with priority given to the task of archiving. Maintaining an archive is essential because if the images are not safe you will have nothing to show for your work. The next phase is editing, which is a subjective, creative process that separates out a few key images from the noise of the larger group.
