3.1 Defining an Assignment
There are three phases in an architectural photo shoot: pre-production, the actual shooting, and post-production. Pre-production involves a study of the site, gathering information, defining objectives, building a shot list, and arranging for access. The shoot day is when the principal photography happens. Finally post-production is where the total shoot is pared down to a select group of images that are processed from rough drafts into finished photographs.
