Crossovers
Some vigilantes are known as crossovers, transitioning from perp to whistleblower status. Feeling guilty about their bad behavior, they decide to work for the other team. Yes, obviously some of them are also incentivized to become whistleblowers—they’re getting themselves out of a tight spot.
I met Weston Smith when I was working on my first documentary, Crossing the Line: Ordinary People Committing Extraordinary Crimes.
