Deepening the Six Practices

When we set out to revisit the original twelve high-impact nonprofits five years after our initial research, we were curious about what we might find, as Greg Dees alluded to in his Foreword. We suspected that some of these nonprofits might have cut back on certain practices given the austere times, or that a few might be struggling. But as noted in the previous chapter, every one of the organizations has not only survived the recent downturn but actually thrived.
