Conclusions

In the preceding text, an attempt is made to analyze the concept and ­practice of FDI especially in the context of the developing nations like India. The primary objectives of technology acquisition and obtaining managerial know-how via the FDI route has been well researched in the past; however, these depend upon the relative ability of the host country public policy, regulations, and institutional environments.
