Your First Steps in Joomla
Chapter 2 looked in detail at the installation of the XAMPP framework and the Joomla package. While installing Joomla, you were prompted to specify the name of the Joomla web site you wanted to create (in this case, harwanibm.net). As a result, Joomla created a full-fledged web site that already contained menus, links, search boxes, articles, polls, news feeds, and so on; and all these features were functional. This automatically generated content can be updated, deleted, and added to at any time.
