23.1 Description of Cathode-Ray Tube
The preceding chapters have covered the general principles
underlying all radio systems (and incidentally quite a number of
other things such as deaf aids and r.f. cookers), together with
sufficient examples of their application to provide at least the
outlines of a complete picture of the reception of sound
programmes. There remains one device which is so important for
