One of the best ways to establish yourself as an expert in any market is to seek out and begin participating in the most active forums that are being used by members of your target audience. You won't find success in a discussion forum if you are constantly trying to sell something though. Your credibility is established instead by being helpful, available, and thorough in the replies and assistance that you offer other forum members.

We launched a website at InvisibleShoe.com selling “barefoot” sandals. It's a modern take on a 10,000-year-old idea.
Currently, we are selling over 400 pairs of Invisible Shoes every month, grossing over $15,000, and still growing.
