7The Sense of Informational Comprehension of Living Organisms: The Sixth Sense

7.1. Introduction

The generation of thoughts in human beings depends on their current state and their situation in their social context. If they are in an environment where problems have disrupted this environment, or if they are in a group where people are very gloomy without them knowing it a priori, their thoughts will systematically become darker. They are therefore constantly in a situation of sensitive comprehension of their environment. The system, with its active informational links and its dominant morphological patterns, has communicated with the major patterns of its psychic system and has been able to influence them, by being open to this comprehension. This involves the human being’s openness to the informational comprehension of things in the world, as well as their tendency towards closure that can cause them to close in on themselves.

We usually attribute a sixth sense to animals (Bomsel 2006). This sixth sense is not like the five usual senses, because it is a global and organizational comprehension of elements that are outside the comprehension of the five usual senses.
