In this section, node and loop analysis are introduced as methods for computing voltages and currents in electrical circuits. Readers are assumed to have no previous knowledge of these methods. Therefore, the basic principles are first explained and applied to simple dc circuits. Following a few examples, ac circuits are introduced as well.
