Chapter 8. Uplink Transport Channel Processing

As shown in Chapter 6, there are major differences between downlink and uplink in LTE, including different transmission and multiple access schemes, and different types of channel and control information, which result, in different physical layer processing. Low complexity and high power efficiency are among the major factors for the transmitter design in the uplink.
