Cubic boron nitride (CBN): The combination of tremendous high-pressure
with high-temperature conditions similar to those used to manufacture
diamond is used to produce the diamond-like crystals of CBN. CBN works
effectively as a cutting tool for most work materials except titanium and
its alloys. However, it should be used as a nishing tool for very hard and
difcult-to-machine materials. As in the case of diamond tools, the machine
