Tribalism is the most powerful force in the world: more powerful than the combined military might of America, Russia and China. Tribalism creates belonging, identity, family, community, teams and nations, but can lead to separatism, violence, wars and genocide. All terrorism is extreme tribalism, fuelled usually by perceived injustice.
