By the end of this chapter, you will be able to:
•Create a “GameOver” Scene.
•Use 2D Sprites on a Canvas in a Unity Scene.
Before we start setting up our GameOver Scene, let’s create our Events in FMOD. We’re going to need:
•Music
•An impact/death sound effect
•Keypress sound effects
Don’t worry about the Music Event for now – we’ll deal with this in a later chapter.
The death sound effect will be fairly straightforward. Create a 2D Event in the PlayerImpacts folder called “GameOverImpact,” and use the VO_Avatar_Death_Fall.wav file in a Single Instrument.
